I'm looking for the removable firewall panel in front of the fresh air blower. It has a rubber like coating and goes nearly the full width of the firewall. Mine is an M5, but think the part may be the same. For the life of me I cannot find the part name on RealOEM again, but it is NLA and an odd name.

That part is #51711917396. Showed in HVAC, heater closing panel is the Realoem name

Just checking I believe the fan control switch changed in 85. So if your car is 82-early 85 might not work.

I believe it's a 2.93:1 diff. Open. 

No need myself, but you might want to check. Typically auto 88 eta's came with 3.46, which is much more desirable than the earlier 2.93.

It's an auto trans car and as far as I can tell that came with the 2.93:1
Have not gotten underneath to verify.

Oh I didn’t realize that. Maybe Canadian market was different, my ‘86 528e didn’t have ABS. No holes in the arms or front strut housings either. 

I asked as I could be interested in the front sensors, if you can extract them from the strut housings

Unfortunately those pieces are entirely cracked and discolored.
