I'm going to check this car out today. Did they make a sport package e39 without sport seats and a 140mph cluster?
That car's missing a pedal.russellrh72 wrote:I'm going to check this car out today. Did they make a sport package e39 without sport seats and a 140mph cluster?
Mine is a '00 sport package with regular seats and a 140 mph speedo if that matters.russellrh72 wrote:George Hanson wrote:2001 530i

Everything in the car works great. The power is amazing and the handling is like it rides on rails.
There is one problem. It runs rich. I have tried just about everything I can think of. I have replaced pretty much everything there is related to fuel management. I just can not figure it out. The only down side with it running rich is that the idle is pretty low.
Happy to answer questions about the car and how great it is to drive.

Absolutely great car not a single problem, runs and shifts amazing, almost everything's been replaced new brakes, tires, timing belt, thermostat and much more, only con are some cracks in the dash which is like almost every 80's car or truck.

Looks nice except for we have no clue what the interior looks like. One picture of the shifter?? It looks like there is tape on the passenger seat. That doesn't make it a POS by any means but just show the interior for crying out loud. A person interested is going to want to see it so why make them ask? Guess I'm spoiled by some of the ads on this forum that are super detailed and pic heavy.jhh925 wrote:1988 535i manual in Auburn, Ca - $5,5001988 bmw 535i

Timing belt reference is a red flag, no interior pics sans the taped passenger seat, mis-matched wheels, the driver's side front bumper almost looks like it's bent up suggesting an accident (but could just be the angle), looks like it has definitely been repainted. I'd be careful when looking at this one.jhh925 wrote:1988 535i manual in Auburn, Ca - $5,5001988 bmw 535i

For sale is an all original beautiful example of an e28 M5. I have owned it since 2005 and has been kept indoors, covered and has been lovingly serviced with all my BMWs by whom I think is by SE Michigan's premier German auto service center, Karl Heinz in Royal Oak. The car has never been painted or modified. Everything on the car is in working order, except there is a leak somewhere in the AC, as I fill it each spring when I bring the car out of storage and need to fill it the following spring.
