E28 -> E30 question

I know the e30 body style is different than the e28, and therefore most body kits or parts will fit. however, does anyone know atleast if the grille is the same size? and if possibly the eyebrows/lids shown in the ebay link below would fit with modification to the length (im hoping if they dont fit, they will be too wide at most and can just be shortened lol) any ideas?

Also, if anyone just knows where i could get these sort of parts for an E28 instead, that would be great, I just cant find em though

No they won't fit. Too bad though, they'd go great with some sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki sauce.

Never heard or saw of anything close to that for an E28;don't think it would look right anyway.Try a set of eurolites.

You must have meant "... the e30 body style is different than the e28, and therefore most body kits or parts will not fit..." didn't you? No E30 parts will fit, whether modified or not.

I digress! I recently installed an E30 hood roundel on my E28 the other day. It fits fine

Headlamps and turn signal lenses too. Also check panel, door handles, window switches, and glove box latches! SOME parts do fit

Nah, you don't digress, but you do disagree and you're correct! I suppose we could add that oil, windshield washer fluid, air for the tires, etc. will interchange, but in the context of what ChronicX was asking about (body parts), no parts will interchange.

There is one part shared by all BMWs. And VWs and Fords, even old ones. Rolls Royce, and every other car uses this.

Pretty interior paint is very interchangeable, expecially with rice racers.

i too have a question. i want the ///M3 style mirrors (e36) but they dont make them for the e28. ive seen it dont but all ive found them for are the e30. Is the e28 and the e30 mirrors mount the same?
