S38 fuel injectors

The little plastic caps at the ends on my fuel injectors have become brittle and cracked. Are the s38 injectors interchangeable with any other car? If not, where is the best source to get mine fixed or get replacements?

Best solution is to send them off and have them cleaned. Do a search on injector cleaning.

The S38 uses the same low impedance injectors found on the 533, 633 & 733. If you want to fix the ones you have I recommend sending them to Rich Jensen at Cruizin Performance.

You can do this DIY but you don't really know if they are flowing correctly after the service. All of the service places test them before and after the cleaning. Most of the overhaul shops also utilize a special cleaner to help break up the varnish in combination with an ultrasonic cleaner.

True that. It helps if you have a flow bench and an ultrasonic cleaner. I just use an old fuel rail and mount my injectors on it upside down so I can reverse flush them.
