So, to make a long story short, I've been battling sync loss ever since I installed megasquirt. At first it was multiple sporadic hiccups at high RPM's.. I tried messing with the noise filters, adding a 10k inline resistor (changed it but didn't fix it), and most recently changed out c32/C31 .001uF capacitor/D24 1n4148 diode.. Now my sync loss is severe, won't rev past 4500 or so. I am still quite green when it comes to megasquirt, so I'm really just looking for some suggestions, where should I be looking? My megasquirt is inside a stock motronic box and the wiring is not shielded from M55 to DB37.. Should I start there?

Hmm.. Never heard of that, but I suppose it makes sense. When I came home from work today I changed the crank sensor over to another one I had with a 10k resistor wired in, and now the car revs all the way to 7 but still misfires pretty good at and above 5k. I don't have time to log it right now but it will be interesting to see what the tooth log looks like now, would it help if I posted a screen shot or two of the tooth log, or is there another way to post it?
