Intercooler core came in for the e34.

This should handle 20+ psi on the 67mm.

Oooooh shiny. How much is a core that big? I've been thinking about welding my own intercooler sometime in the future.

Now all you need to do is weld some really big tanks on it, get a big reservoir, then fill it with ice cubes and vodka.

Its an air/air core, no liquids. Its ~$400 my cost wholesale.

I need to mount it on the car then I can have end tanks laser cut.

I'm assuming you'll have an electric fan on the E34 now (if you don't already)? I've seen a few people do it with the M50 chassis, I wasn't sure how much longer the M30 was.

Nope. Just the stock mechanical fan and an oversized 540i radiator.

No condenser and no electric fan.

Nice. Is that the special 3.8" thick race core that I told you about?... If it is.... Be ready for some shockingly awesome results. The standard garrett cores are great too though.

Yes its comically large. The core itself weights 40lbs.

I'll switch to something thinner but taller and move the radiator around if the pressure drop is enormous. Will have to wait an see.
