Can you verify the VIN for this M5? I also would be interested in seeing photos of the interior.

Best,

I'll get some more fotos and post soon. Gary B. posted these 2 as I'm learning how to post on this site. On all the other autos forums, you just copy & paste or attach.

This is a great example of the M5. The side turn indicators are really nice details and if it were fitted with the original16-inch cross spoke alloys and the M Technic wheel arch coverings it would look amazing.

Best,

Any of us would be happy to post those pictures here for you.
GLWS. I'd love to have a silver E34 M5, but that isn't going to happen.

This without question the best and most desirable E28 M5 I have seen listed for sometime. This would be a great car to own and would look amazing on the original 16-inch cross spoke alloys.

You can buy it and I'll trade you a set of the original wheels for the M systems :D

Nice looking E28 M5 - with all the right bits to make it look like its maker intended!
However I do agree that the OE 16-inch alloys would complete the car.
What made you decide to ditch the leather for the cloth interior?
Makes for a refreshing change, finished off nicely with the rear headrests.

Is this car still for sale? I have PM'd the OP, but nothing but crickets so far. Would like to know as it fits the bill for my friend.

Ron:

Brooks is still around. There's been some recent chatter about this car on the Yahoo S38/M88 bulletin board.

FWIW, I saw this car at the Peachtree Chapter Concours in 2008 and again at V@V in 2009. It is a very nice example. The interior is the natur "herringbone" cloth that is in good shape, as I recall, but it would not be difficult for a new owner to put it back to leather if they were so inclined.

HTH.

Here is a pic of the E34. They are contained in the same online album listed in my earlier link. These pics aren't as clear as the E28 pics.
