Not sure if you can tell from an internet post, but a bit of a puddle appeared right next to the driver's side front wheel (on the ground right next to the tire on the inside). It wasn't oil, but was a bit slippery and thin. What might be right there that could be leaking? I'm guessing it's from an aged hose connection.
When I did the oil the other day I did notice a small hose connected to something that looked like it was trying to seap a bit, but I don't feel like dealing with a mechanic for awhile.
Thanks.
What's This Leak?
Thanks. Could be any of the above. I hope to not be a numbnut one day so I can figure this stuff out without driving an hour each way. Very well might be the coolant overflow. If I continue my noob ways I'll have it checked when I get my windshield replaced. Other than that it drives spectacularly well; rather stunningly, and I'm quite the stud.
Alrighty - Looks like brake fluid because it's right next to the tire right under the brakes. Also, I had the brakes recently rebuilt and then "tightened up" when told that it was leaking a bit. So, maybe they'll get it right the third time. I wonder if there's something inherent in my brakes or a case of limited mental capacity.

In closing - Yah, it's brake fluid, yah.
