Welcome aboard... the car looks great, nice color excellent wheels too! Glad to see you starting so young with the passion for vintage BMWs!!

I'd lose the M badge and the driver's seat cover... but that just me ;)

Welcome!

Like Roy says, don't use those badges (either the M or the B10 3.5).

Thanks for the comments. The cover isnt there anymore. These are year old photos when my dad was driving it and he didnt want to wreck the seat because the foam in the lower right bolster is torn up a bit.

ILL probably take the badges off soon and i wasnt going to put the alpina badge i bought as something for my car collection shelf

Welcome mate,

Like the car, havent seen many in that colour either. Youve definately came to the right place if you want to keep your e28 tip top and get the best out of it.

Beautiful car! I love artic blue and the RS's definitely add some spice. I have a dark side to me myself so I'm waiting for someone to shadowline an artic blue slam dropped on RS's.

Update:

Not much happened to the car other than a new radio.

But have obtained a Good condition First aid kit (insides never been used), polishing cloth and M tech emblem for early gear knob

Image

Image

Also where i got the kit said that on their database the e28 was suppose to a black cushion (about 30cmx30cm) with a black and white bmw logo in the bottom right corner

Anyone know anything about it?

Welcome to finally, another Melbournian! Excellent platform you have to start with there, and some good additions you have planned. As previously mentioned, join us on www.eurocca.net as there is an excellent local community there.

Now just get your licence, and come cruise! If you're chasing any bits and pieces, i may be able to be of assistance, so shoot me a message.

;)

You could always rock along with one of us in the meantime, we have a GOR cruise coming up and i'm sure we could find you a ride if you're interested. Hell, i always have room for one more ;)

And where do i begin.. spoilers, wheels, sideskirts, interior pieces, engine components, etc etc. I'm a bit of a parts hoarder..You seem to have most of the desirable things already which saves you a lot of hunting around, but if you can think of anything you're chasing, let me know i might be able to put you onto someone if i don't have it in my garage.

Nice to have you onboard.

Very nice car for a lucky young man. Great looking wheels that will look even better once you lower this baby!! Not sure about the gold adhesive pin striping. If it was me and I wanted to go with pin striping, I would have them professionally painted on. Just my humble opinion. Is you Dad looking to adopt another boy?

UPDATE:

Recently saved this 1985 M528i. It has the recaro interior, 14" BBS rims, pfeba front and rear spoilers.
Image

Image

I put the recaro seats in my car to replace the worn out m tech seats. They fell a lot better than the m tech.
Image

I also thought i would try some blacked out kidney grills

One happy family

Update:

Has been a while since the last time i uploaded anything.

Not much has happened to the car other than the exhaust, getting the pfeba spoiler ready and change the suspension to another set i had. looks 10x better

The Exhaust is just the stock center with straight pipes to the rear painted in flat black.

Also put the 14"s on because the RS's need a few repairs.

I also had a pretty good find at the yard yesterday. See for yourselves.
