I might sell my 1988 M6 (schwarz/silver grey, 17" covered lug Alpinas, 41K) that is much nicer ("world bumpers", rather than these diving boards) than this car for close to this kind of money. Anybody game? I wonder what that dash cover's hiding, being a TX car and all. She does look nice, though.

I only wish. Still, it would be entertaining to ask: can we see pics?
You could, if I had enough computer sense to figure out how to post them here FWIW, Josh in Atlanta took a couple of photos of this car when I had it at his house last December and posted them here - before the Alpinas arrived. Maybe he could link that post up here.

If I didn't have all the documentation for my car, I would have done Lotus White in a heartbeat. It would have been like driving a Miami Vice car. Ohhhhhhhh. I'm alright. Ahhhhhhh, I'm alright, I promise!
It's very nice. One thing I don't like are the reupholstered seats. They have that inflated, bloated look, especially on the lower bolsters. The factory sport seats in this era look so great--slim and sharp edged. Also, the M stripes on the leather (which don't belong on this ear car, but look nice) are all supposed to be on the left side. Those are my nitpicks. ...and the wheels are a little fussy.
This car would look especially great with euro bumpers on it.
