sticky throttle

Hey guys I been having trouble lately with the throttle lever on the injection pump sticking at WOT every once and a while. It's happen 4 times on my now in the last 3 weeks. I just shut the car off and coast to a stop, pop the hood and dislodge the throttle and then it's fine. Any suggestions on spots to lube etc....? I've sprayed it with some WD after the first time, but it stuck again tonight on me. Have to say a diesel screaming at 6000 rpm's will sure get some attention.

a bit OT: WD40 is not a good "rust softener" or lubricant, it drys out in couple days.

Ya I know that's all I had handy and I was pulled over on the side of the road.

I'd suggest tri-flow. It's a bike chain and cable lubricant. Drip some down each end of the cable and the joints on the IP also.
