Don Lawrence will be performing a head gasket, timing chain and etc on an 85 745i that weekend. It was a perfect excuse for us to throw a BBQ get together for all wrenchheads.

Richard Lin of Show Car Detailing will be there to provide a detailing clinic. One car from those attending will be selected for demo. See quality of work -
http://www.showcardetailing.com/

There will be prizes(cleanest car, drove the farthest and oldest car awards) and BBQ. All car guys and wrenchheads are welcome regardless of what car you drive.

Our garage opens at 8AM. Parade of cars for cleanest car judging starts at 11AM. Please RSVP here so we know how much food to prepare.

Thanks.

Wish I could make it. I'd be a shoe in for furthest distance traveled! This would probably be followed up by an insane driver award too.

Come on. You know you want to take a nice long drive out to California. This is your perfect excuse. ;)

Think about it. You can test drive both the 5 speed 745 and Big Orange.

Nope...depending on your class, you can have finals on both the 10th and 17th of May. Yeah I know, it sucks. :deadhorse:

To my luck, I have one final on the 10th and two on the 17th. Then two more in the middle of the week.

David,

I won't be able to make it. I've maxed out the "away" time from home during May and June! I hope it all goes well!

Hey David,

I will be there with note pad and camera in hand as I can always gleen epic information from Don. I have some questions for him regarding some mysteries with my 745i. I am also looking forward to my new M106 head!

If you would like I can bring the Zender air dam so you can take a look at it. I will also be bringing a big appetite, should I bring anything to contribute to the BBQ?

There is a possibility that my new lady will come along for the festivities. She is a boat girl not a car girl, but I am working on that. At least she has that appreciation built in, got it from her Dad.

See you then,
Greg

Bump for Saturday. We are going to have quite a few gurus there so make sure you bring your most troubled car(s) to see if we can stump them. ;)
