WTB: black/black E28 M5

Post by CarNut68 »

Hello Group,

I recently sold my 1993 M5 black/black and, after some soul searching on what to replace it with, ideally I would like to go the E28 M5 route if I can find a well-maintained, low-mileage black interior car.

I know they are rare and that's a tall order, but I fugure that sooner or later one will come around. I just hope one comes around before I get frustrated and "settle" for an E39 M5 or E36/E46 M3. Would rather stay old school if I can, but I am rather fixated on black interiors.

FYI, I have called/emailed the one on Autotrader without response so I am not sure if that is still available.

Any other leads appreciated as well as feedback on other specialty E28's I should consider.

Brett from the board has his M5 listed for sale. You could re-dye the interior black .

Jay, If I could ask you, what made you get rid of the E34?

Rosario,

Would you mind telling me your VIN and Manuf date?
Just want to see where your car was at.
I have one too!
Thanks,
