That's a deal....and negotiable.

Looks more like a $1,500-$2,500 car to me. You could make your money back and pocket some extra by parting it if it turned out to have rust or other major problems.

I'll bet the electrical problem has to do with the rear windows. I thought about picking that car up today, just for the hell of it. Then I changed my mind since I can think of two people that would shoot me when they came home tonight. I'm slowly losing my sanity.

if that car is in good shape you should totally turn it out, just park it somewhere where the wife doesn't see it, like at a buddy's house ;)

just goes to show you that people will pay $$$ for 6 series

Here for your consideration is a rare BMW L6. This is the limited edition luxury e24 that was made only in 1987, and is distinguished by its 2-tone, all leather interior. This car has been modified over stock in a couple of ways: 1) It has a Magnaflow catalytic converter, which gives a deeper sound as well as enhanced performance over stock, and 2) It has Dinan software installed, which enhances both hp and torque by fine tuning the ECM maps to take maximum advantage of 91 octane fuel. The automatic transmission has been replaced with a factory-rebuilt unit. The work was performed by the local ZF Authorized Factory Service Center. The new transmission is still under a transferable warranty.

There are additional things too numerous to mention about this e24. Most of them involve the maintenance and restoration work, which has been unswerving, meticulous and comprehensive in scope. The following is a short list of parts recently installed: Fresh Michelin TRX tires, new injectors, new mass air flow sensor, new vacuum hoses, new intake boots, new oxygen sensor, new cap, rotor, wires and plugs. The car both idles and accelerates with authority. It now awaits a serious collector to go the distance. Comprehensive receipts. Registered through 11/08. Mileage: 253K.
