The first seller is a crack smoker. $46k? Are you kidding me? 20 years old, is 20 years old. Even with that low mileage, all of the rubber is cracking....

Goodness. Do you think the owner parked it at the prison in Vacaville and just got released?

The first 6er in the link is simlpy stunning. I love the Hartge wheels.
I think his price needs adjusting about 20k south but thats just me.
I would love to have a file of photos of that unrestored example!

Assuming the mileage is documented, I think the first one could bring around $30K if he's patient and finds the right buyer.....I've seen euro 6s in similar condition but higher miles go for low $20Ks.

First we should find another one just like that then do the comparison, the car is like a brand new (11000 K) but frozen in time, I believe the cost of up kipping and the 20 years of storage fee would have accessed $20K that has been suggested. I think this is for someone whom is a collector and originality is the key factor as well as condition or a trough enthusiast that would rather to drive this 6er then a newer cars.

I know another BMW collector in Toronto, that has an E24 635i just like this one only in Alpine white, and asking $65,000. Not that he would need the money. Also he has brand new E28 535i N/A for $46,000 and a brand new E23 735i, so you see.

If you are comparing the price of this car to brand new Honda Accord, Dodge what ever or a new 3er then this car is not for you, because with $46,000 you can do lots of other thing such as pay off mortgage, pay for the kids collage, or buy 3 cars or what have you. Ultimately it comes down to what you would like to do whit it. ;)

Brand new, as in zero miles and never driven? Wow.

The price for the 11K mile Euro is a little high. The 2008 Collector Car Price Guide shows a high price of $35K for an '85 635Csi. The price guide is suggesting $40k for a '88 M6 in new/perfect condition.

I agree, that's seems to be more realistic.

My relatively low mile e24 was a garage queen for the last 12 years and I have thrown a pile of money into it to get it useable again. I can only imagine what is lurking with the 11k example.

Virtually every picece of body rubber was shot. Everything mechanical soon leaked like a sieve and I had to go through it from front to back. Crank seals, tranny seal, camshaft seal, diff seals, SLS ; you name it, it got replaced and it wasn't cheap. The problem is that it all looked pristine when I took delivery. Used sparingly (1200 mi. last year) everything started going to hell after about 500 miles.

Yeah, low miles are great but if whomever buys this car is going to drive it at all, they've got a big and expensive job ahead of them. That being said, chances are that this will go into a collection and will remain a Queen.
