I know a good bit about Rovers....sometimes, more than I'd care to know!.....and, their prices fluctuate greatly. I've owned one, have a part time business selling parts for them & my partner in that business has educated me on many of the ins/outs of the various models & such since he also does repairs on them. They're absolutely wonderful cars and undeniably British through & through. I don't know a lot about the value of a runner, but as a parts car, you'd be looking at about $2500 +/- depending on miles/rust/engine....so $5K for a driver ought to be a bargain.
