M21 + Intercooler and MBC

Hello i have E28 M21D24,and i want to install intercooler,and I'm wandering if i can install MBC also at turbo to reduce loss of pressure-is that necessary??Mayby IC only little incrase turbo lag?
Mayby someone here installed in his M21-intercooler and can help me with this

Do You have any pic of your engine with installed IC??
And do You feel some change in car dynamic with IC.

MBC is Manual Boost Controller for boot pressure of turbo.
