Was wondering because I heard of bad fitting replacement windshields that weren't OEM. I'm trying to eliminate as much wind noise as possible.

How do I know if I have an OEM windshield
The body shop I have used for glass work always sources the windshields from the local BMW dealer. The glass has been either Sigla or Sekurit, with a BMW logo. For example, the new windshield I just had installed in my M5 is Sekurit glass and the cost to me was $209.00. Pretty fair, I thought. The fit is excellent and fixed the right corner leak I had from the old windshield - an ill-fitting PPG windshield. It makes no sense to cut corners on windshields when the OEM glass is so reasonably priced, IMHO.
