Aftermarket exhaust

I'm intrigued by the idea of an aftermarket exhaust such as an ireland engineering system as mentioned in my last post, but i'm also reluctant as my local replacement parts dealer tells me horror stories about the shoddy quality of the bosal and remus systems. I've known him since far before i had my license so he wouldn't have a conflict of interest as far as i'm concerned. He highly recommends the BMW system which is on bavauto for quite a reasonable price(Which I assume is a Boysen). I like a quiet ride and hate drone as many other systems have. My question is: is the IE system worth the exrta bucks, is it as well made as an oem system, does it drone, feedback please...

I just recieved my IE exhaust a few weeks ago. Can't tell you anything about how it sounds, it's not on the car yet, but it sure looks pretty! Quality of construction looks top notch too!

I haven't had a problem with Boysen.
