Rear backing plate removal

I'd like to pull the rear backing plates and parking brake stuff front a pyp car, how do you get the backing plates off? Or I guess how do you get the rear hubs off?

You will need to pull the hubs off. Plan on taking several hours to do so.

About the only critical feature on the rear backing plates is the slotted holes for the E-brakeshoe mounting pins. I pulled a pin through its rusted out slot . My quick and dirty shade tree fix was to crush a 3/16 spring washer around it and put the brakes back together. 8 months later, its holding good as new.
