How do I install M5 seat emblems

I have a set of M5 seat emblems. How exactly do they install? Do they just push into the seat or is there more to it.

Yes, they just push into the seat and then you bend the spikes inward to hold them tight.

And the possibility you might catch some flak if your car isn't an Motorsport product. It's not as bad as putting ///M badges on the exterior, but it's not as innocent as installing a sport steering wheel or a ergonomic shift knob with the ///M sash. Personally I could car less if you badged your car, but you could open yourself up to some friendly ribbing. I hope you have thick skin.

Can anybody provide the measurements to position said badges - front and rear?

Please - somebody must be able to measure where thier badges are to help me put mine on the right place.

For the fronts: centered 3 inches from the side of the center seatback cushion, and approx 6 inches from the effective top of the seatback--take a straightedge and level it at the top of the seat and measure from there.

Rear: centered approx 6" from the effective top of the back of the seat with the center section of vertical stitching.

Measure twice, jab holes in your seat once!

So, a 535is comes with the M-technic spoilers right? Would we be able to M/// badge our spoiler and not get flak? Although it would look kind of weird.

Do the sports seats have a plate or something that the "nails" pass through before they're bent over?
It's been forever since I've had my seatbacks off & I can't recall what it looks like in that area.
