I've owned my 535iSE for about 10 months now, but it's been a bit unloved of late, it's used everyday and the winter hasn't helped matters. She's got H+R springs and Bilstein shocks and uprated brakes from a later 5 series. Also it's been superchipped and has a stainless steel exhaust. Inside theres full tan leather from an M535i and everything works (apart from the cruise, I need to get round to that

The rear bumper was a bit of a state, it's had more hit's than Justin Timberlake. Then my mate managed to wreck the valance driving it off some drive up ramps the othet week so it was time for action.
I managed to get my hands on a Lachs silver M535i rear bumper from a scrappy near to me, I also got colour coded door mirrors and some shadowline trim, all really cheap. The bumper needs a small repair and some paint but it makes a big difference.
I then got my BBS 17" Split rims. it was a bit of a drive to pick these up but worth it, even though the rear tires scrubbed. For £300 I couldn't complain. Down a tire size at the rear to 225/45 and some "fettling"(read persuading with a hammer
) of the rear inner arches and they finally clear, just :ph43r: On top of this what I thought was the noise from an ill fitting exhaust turned out to be a shot propshaft centre bearing, so a new one of them has been fitted, along with a new guibo. Not as bad a job as I thought so now I have the go again to match the looks
Next on the list:
I have two new wings on order from my local motor factors, cheaper than second hand ones are going for over here. Once I have these then it's off to the spray shop to get them and my brand new Zender front spoiler painted and fitted 8)
After that it's bushes and shocks, then hopefully I can relax and plan a trip to the Nurburgring
Anyway, enough talk, here's some pics after a wash and polish. Not bad for a 20 year old daily driver with 136k on the clock. Enjoy
