Gruppe,

It snowed here a few weeks ago. A buddy and I went off base to an empty parking lot and shot a quick video of me doing donuts in the 528e. The file is almost 2.0 Mb, so it shouldn't take too long to download, even if you have dial-up.

Enjoy!

I'm working on getting the video of me racing my buddy's V-6 Dakota in my E30. Two very underpowered cars racing each other isn't that exciting, but I have a video of it anyway. :D

nice! i did that for about 30 minutes straight in my old high-school parking lot the first big snow we had this year.... also found out my water pump doesn't work and had to stay out there while my car cooled down... i wish i had a digital cam-corder.... i really really do. i'm exceptionally good at editing and such too... it's a shame! ~_~

lol... but that does look like a lot of fun... always has been for me at least! :D

Good stuff Shifty!!! Last time the better-half and I did that, we were busted by a County cop--"Aren't you two a little old to be doing that?" said the patrolman. "I thought you guys LIKED doughnuts" was the line that went through my head, but I thought better of it, and told him it wouldn' t happen again......... :D :D :D c'monnnnnnn snow!!!!!

Thanks for the comments, guys!

BMW Fan, this is my first camcorder and my first stint at putting digital video on the internet. I eventually want to get into editing and making good videos with background music, etc, but I'll probably need to upgrade my computer first!

DD, I remember your story about that! That's some funny stuff! Luckily, the cops weren't around. We only stayed around for a minute or so, because I wasn't sure if anyone was watching. I kinda wish we had stayed a few minutes longer and gotten some better shots. Oh well. Maybe next time it snows!

I normally don't like the cops around here too much... they aren't known to be very nice.. but they usually let us do this when it snows... there was about 3 other cars in the parking lot taking turns... it was fun.

i took a video tech class in high school and i was very talented at it... unfortunately the people in my group didn't have the same amount of patience and vision as i did! lol... i'm hoping to get a good digital camera someday and some good software... the setup i had at high school would be a little far fetched... we had sound mixers and vcr's, dvd players, and all sorts of equipment that were all fed into one system that i can't even remember the name of... it was beautiful... but hopefully i'll get something that i can dabble with in my free-time someday! :D
