I spent the weekend cleaning her up for 5erFest. Now, if it just doesn't rain between now and then I'm all set.

You know, I've wondered about that...I've seen photos of some cars with the side indicator lights, some with the ///M badges, and some with nothing at all. I think the indicators were specific for certain markets, but I don't know about the badges - maybe they were just an option. This car had them when I got it from the previous owner, I believe they've been there since the car was new.

Of all of the M535i's I have seen in Germany, none has ever had the ///M on the side. These were never installed by the factory. If you pull one of yours off I bet you will find a hole where the side markers went.

Could have been done by the company that federalized it when it first came into the US, maybe.

when u drive down, tape up the front so the bugs come off with the tape

also helps to prevent rock chips =]

Actually, they're Azev type 'A' wheels. They're made in Germany, I think the only place you can get them in the US is Claus Ettensberger Wheels in California. http://www.cecwheels.com/
