Badass'd Turbo Hayabusa
Good Lord! That's 180mph on public roads....and one wheel!!!
Insanity! ~0
If you watch the speedo carefully, it flirts with 300kph on more than one occassion. That's 187mph, and that was just the chase bike. The turbo bike passes it like he's standing still on one of the occassions when's he's flirting with 300 (you can just barely make out the lead digit going between 2 and 3). I'd bet he was going 200+! ~0
What's the point of having a bike with that much power though? He obviously can't open it up without having the thing try to kill him. I'm finding that a lot of power isn't much fun if you can't put it to the ground myself. My turbo 535i has some 225 wide tires that're at the end of their useful life, and I can't open it up without spinning them until 3rd gear. Impressive and macho when you spin em hard as the revs climb in second perhaps, but not a whole lot of fun. Same with that bike. I can't see any useful purpose for all that power aside from showing off.
Me, I'll just put new tires on and I'll be good to go. Question is, stick with the 15 inch e34 basketweaves, use the 16 inch staggered Hartge wheels, or the naked T-stars? They're all in the basement just waiting to come out and play with some fresh rubber.
