WTB: Under Seat Sub enclosure

Post by BenGerman »

Might be a long shot, but I know at some point there was some of these made.
I’m looking for a subwoofer enclosure that mounts under the drivers side rear seat. I can adapt to my specific driver diameter, but I’d rather not start getting back into fiberglass work.

If there is anyone here willing to mold one in there car for me, let’s talk!

The one I made is in 3/4" MDF and houses a Pioneer 8" shallow mount subwoofer. Here is a link for it in my Google Drive: Sub Box for 8" Shallow Mount Pioneer

Thanks Jim. I had found your design already, this might be my plan B.

Hey Ben,
Devinder and I installed a Blaupunkt sub-in-a-box under the back seat in his M5 in like 2008ish and when throwing all the pluses and minuses on a white board it was by far a very solid choice across all fronts.

Chris sent me some info on it when he prepped the car for BaT but I didn't find it on a quick search of my files and it is not in the 300 photos. Drop him a note and if he has the info please let me know (again).

Now, riddle me about this car in Florida that is need of some sport seats....
