Anyone have experience with these knock off stainless long- tube headers on a M20, or know someone who has? I know there are more highly regarded headers- manifolds available, but not wanting to spend thousands on the exhaust upgrade. At 140 bucks, I'm tempted to give them a try.

I'm in the process of making several upgrades to my 83 528e eta....these include larger TB, IM, better flowing exhaust, motronics upgrade, etc. It already has a high flow head with larger valves and modified cam, and a 346 differential. These have made a significant difference already. The other exhaust upgrade option is source the higher flowing 325i manifolds and finish out with larger diameter straight pipe (ie no cat), resonator/muffer.
