Spare tire well colour

Post by CanadianMiniFan »

Hello all,

Ive recently redone the rear half of my undercoat, top coated with SEM 62253 beige paint. Looks great, but from the back the spare tire well and tow hook look odd being beige. Most e28s it looks like the have been sprayed black. Does anybody know if that’s factory, or if most people just want them black so they disappear more? I know the wheel wells got sprayed body colour.

Thanks in advance,

Warren
