Triple Webers AND headers? That's not an engine, that's artwork!

Hi guys,

I spoke with the engine builder the other day and he pointed out a couple of errors in my listing.
First of all is the price.  I should not have included the labor cost in my asking price, so I've lowered it by $5000.
Secondly, the Schrick 272 cam.  He has no documentation on which cam he installed in the head when he built it years ago, so I removed all mention of it.

Sorry, I guess I should've had him write the ad!

New asking price:  $8000 plus shipping.

As a window shopper whose simply curious, how much power do you think it’ll be making?

How'd you get your dog to sit still with the antlers?  My dog would rip my hand off if I tried to put that on her, hahaha.

The engine is estimated at around 250- 275 at the wheels.  It hasn't been on a dyno, this is just an estimate based on other M30's with similar upgrades.

Very cool, I’m sure that’s a riot in these cars. I’ve not had the pleasure of driving an M fiver so I’ve got no reference, but I’d imagine that amount of power really is perfect for these cars.

As far as the pup…she hated every second of it but she didn’t protest it. She’s a Korean dog meat trade rescue so she’s a bit peculiar. If you put anything on her she becomes catatonic. She literally will freeze and you can pose her and she’ll hold the position. Until the leash comes out, then she’s no longer a statue. The exceptions being her harness and a single Barbour dog coat, they are apparently do not immobilize her. She’s kind of like a cat in a lot of ways; some of it due to her breed mix(Shiba Inu/Jindo/???), but also her traumatic puppydom. She’s 6 now, and the only dog I’ve ever had that is completely indifferent to food and treats. Thankfully she came pre programmed straight off the airplane from Korea. She’s the most gentle, calm, quiet and low key dog inside. She required zero inside behavior training, and literally never barks unless it’s appropriate. Would be a stellar guard dog if her big dog sounding bite wasnt backed up by only 30lbs of dog. Doesn’t steal food, destroy stuff, nothing. She hates riding in the car, though. My interior is happy about it but I wish she’d enjoy spring time windows down cruises with me.

She sounds like an awesome dog.  I'm sure she knows you saved her from a bad life and is grateful.  Although we didn't rescue our dog from a bad life, she is definitely grateful for the awesome life she has.  She's a Catahoula Leopard Dog, so she's very protective of her family and surroundings.  We live on 8 wooded acres, and she's always patrolling the property and chasing off other animals...(or playing!).  Although that's what her DNA tells her to do, I like to look at it as her way of showing appreciation or kind of like doing her part.  Once inside though, she's an 80 pound lap dog, haha.

Man, I love catahoulas. Very pretty dogs.

she is great, and she’d love your 8 acres although I’d probably never see her again if she was let loose to patrol 😂

80lb lap dog sounds like a dream. I really love big dogs, but the living situation at the time made graces 35lbs ideal. She looks like a big dog, just shrunk down, and I often get asked if she’s a mini husky or shepherd. One day though, I’ll break my rescue only rule, and get a black and tan purebred German Shepherd. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid, and look forward to life being such that I can have the space to have one.

sorry to everyone else, but you must understand that in life there are 2 great things - 80s BMWs and Dogs.

Here's Maddie.  She loves the water, but not her life vest.  80 pounds certainly destabilizes the canoe though, haha.  And like Gracie, she has full control of the couch😀

Gracie is really cute.  My sister in law has a Husky-Corgi (yeah, I know, weird mix, haha) that looks pretty similar to her, but with the traditional Husky coloring.  He's a pain in the ass, but also really cute.

I agree about having the space for your dog.  I gave up an awesome house on the ocean (but tiny yard) to be able to give my late dog Boom (Black Lab) a big yard to romp around in.  He was one of the three reasons why I bought this property.  He got to live out the final years of his life here and was in heaven every day.  Funny thing is he had a special spot on the deck that gave him a full view of the yard, and it's the same spot that Maddie chose as her spot.
