Hey Folks,
Up 4-SALE is a M30B35 sourced from a '90 e34 535i auto. 148K. I use L&R machine shop in Santa Fe Springs, CA.  Derek built many BIG blocks for Chip Foose "OverHaulin".  On any given he has a room filled with Shop or customer built Chevy, Ford and Mopar.engines...all works of art!  They dis-assembled - HOT TANKED - inspected all internal components, mic'd cylinder walls (STD size) not oversize - zero scoring on walls too. The main & rod bearings still had meat. The B35 was never opened - still virgin. Pressure tested B35 head - good! Camshaft showed min wear. Crankshaft was sent out checked for straightness then, micro-polished. VG B34 oil pump (new oil pump chain & tensioner) & oil pan was used for correct fitment. RODs were 'resized' with new bronze bushing. Derek personally assembled the B35 Long block  - he went the extra mile applying Glyptal paint to all the oil galley area's. Derek uses it on all High Performance HOT ROD builds. Read up on it!

Ordered all internals - STD rings, rod & main bearings, Main chain, guide/rail,new rubber tensioner, new piston&spring.. Bronze rod bushings, Victor Reinz B35 Head gasket set (including seals). I had All external hardware sent out acid etched then Gold zinc plated. Media blasted all aluminum painted with Alumi-Blast paint. They performed a 3-angle valve grind, new seals. Did not deck block or head - cleaned up the head with paper thin cut.  The wear marks are still indented & visible.. It's ready to go. $5,500.    Can supply a custom wiring harness w/e28 fuse box plug, #179 ecu, throttle sensor for my cost.

Without any interest myself, except most things E28 and or M30.

Pistons. Used, and they can go for an ungodly time, or new? Different? Measured size? Compression ratio? Cam, stock B35 or ???

Is this a nice, well, perhaps well done, stock rebuild, or more? Or much more?
