US E28 M5 fog lights

Post by jpwhaler »

What is the actual part number for the full fog light unit including housing/lamp/lens/wiring harness that go into the US E28 is/M5 air dam? Assuming there is no housing or bracket or anything, just two holes in the air dam. I've used the search function and I've found several different answers. realoem doesn't have this particular part number.

I don't think that is a thing.  The ///M5-535is air dam is not listed and any light kit specific to it would not show up as a kit.

Easiest to see what fog lights complete you can find, L and R and use those numbers.

Maybe someone has that data tucked away in their files and will post it.

Thanks for your reply! Could you tell me if this seems like the correct item? And if so, would I need anything in addition to this to mount the lights to the air dam or are there additional brackets/pieces? Forgive my ignorance, just trying to figure this out 😅

Those are for € installations where the turn signal has a socket for the pin on the fog that does not have the tab. You need both tabs to mount to the US airdam. Other than that they should work.

I have those. Terrible design in how they mount. If you break those "ears/tabs" like me, there is a guy that is 3-D printing replacements.

With these parts available, that set of fogs should work. Don’t know length of the wiring or which mounting tabs to get but you can verify what you need with the fogs in front of you.

There is one screw per lamp for height adjustment and these are part of those fogs.
