Why is there a big blank box at the top of every page

For the last couple weeks, there's a big blank box at the top of every screen for me with a little question mark in the middle.  I assume there's supposed to be an image there, but it is annoying as I have to scroll down the page every time to get to the discussions.

This is the first I’ve heard this.

Safari version 17.6, I'm on a MacBook Pro.

I can't repro this on iOS (iPhone). 

I also tried a browser emulator that emulates Safari.

Can you try clearing your browser history/cache?

I should have thought of that...I logged out, cleared the cookies and logged back in, and now the screen is once again normal.  Thanks!
