BavAuto long tube headers SOLD 179 chipped ECU still available

Post by kojo96 »

OK, a little update on the headers along with a little humble pie- It turns out that these are still available from Tubuler Headers in MA. Cost is around $950 and a wait time depending on current production, shipping extra.

You'd still need to get the powder coating if desired and based on this I have reduced the price on this set to $1000.00 shipped. Powder coating is in the $400-$450 range.

Selling a chipped 179 ECU with a turner chip. Worked well in my e34 but the car is long gone.
$265.00 shipped (cont US) Paypal friends only.

BavAuto Long tube headers, very good used condition with only 3 small nicks on bottom tubes.
They have been ceramic coated Black both inside and out.
Includes the center pipes (2"), has the 02 sensor bung.
Were on a E34 M30 car, but will work on e28, e23,e24 (you may need to use the early (533i) right side engine arm to fit these into an e28,e24. I believe they will bolt into a e23 as is.
Please do your own reseach on these regarding fitment. I don't know if they will work on M20 based cars. There's information here if you SEARCH.
$1000.00 SHIPPED (cont US) paypal friends.

Just want to mention these long tube headers are the Bee's Knees! I'm on my second set and love em. :D

If you need different mid pipes made- the place that originally made them is Tubular ( totally) in Rockland MA.

Thanks for the comment Chimi-Changa. Yeah, these are great on the M30 cars. Also, I don't believe that BavAuto offered these for the e34 cars and I'm guessing that the center pipes were e28 fitment, or custom made.
I'll get a better image of the center pipes behind the headers instead of on top...

These won't work for an M5 US spec car but would work for the M535 cars.

M5 headers have a different flange at the cylinder head.
