Purple and gold E28 (real gold)

Post by Adam W in MN »

Doesn't sound like the guy can stop spending money and customizing it. How much is too much?

He should try to dig up some coin for some hood struts. not a good look with the metal stick holding up the hood.

Interesting drilled door handles and drilled covers for the fresh air intake to the passenger compartment. Probably lots of other little items in this build.

Should that be "previous-metal" or maybe "precious-metal"?
The current state of what we used to call Journalism sucks.

That is pretty extreme, but at least he is enjoying himself and his car.

Kinda the way I feel helping a friend get a good stereo. He wants to listen to compressed, eq'ed, compressed again, 45s from the 60s or so. Heard the way he likes it here one day, he hauled over his rig to try out the speakers I recapped for him. Damn music had so much energy I could only listen for a few minutes. He said he only listens for 20 mins or so.

Do whatever you want, just don't subject others to it...works for me.

We won't be seeing that car here for quite some time, fortunately.

Strangely, I don't hate it. I dig the touches like the slick sides with filled-in trim recesses.

The color alone puts me off. I could see that color on say a chopped 53 Mercury or something like that, but not much else.

Haha yah I was gonna post it myself but I figured maybe everyone else will ignore it too.....
Anyway I know man I wanted to hate it too.... hate would be a strong word. Almost like it? I'll go with that for now.
