Upholstery shops in the Bay Area?

Post by Cream »

Anyone can recommend good upholstery shops in the Bay Area? Will have my front e30 sport seats redone soon. Thinking of doing cloth middle or alcantara with leather/vinyl sides

Would you mind sharing your recommendation? I've been trying to find a good one that doesn't require a long drive down to San Diego ;)

My relationship goes back decades to the founder who was a good friend. Jose worked there and took over years ago, all my car interiors have been done there.

I've used Jose at Alameda as well for two E28s. Two thumbs up. For photos of some of his work see the build thread on my '87.

If you're in the North Bay, you might also check out Franzini Bros on Carlos Drive in San Rafael. They also have a good reputation in the restoration world.
