I am sorry I was wrong, the e34 ones I have are grey and the sunroof covers I have all have at least 2 tabs broken.

E28 M5 has electrical contacts for the vanity mirror lights.

If you have the old sun visor clip with the contact, and the clip is broken, just remove the contact from the clip. To remove the contact you have to destroy the clip but that shouldn´t matter. The contact can be fitted to any late sun visor holding clip. If you also need the contact, buy an e34 clip to canibalize for the contact. That will be a lot easier than getting a black e28 sun visor clip.
