Does any one know what dssr to use with the getrag 6spd?

As far as i know there is only one kind out there. But i know nothing on this subject compared to the collective brain present on this forum.

Talking about length for the dssr. Running an m54 zhp with the getrag 420g. I haven't installed the transmission just yet. I think e28 goodies mentioned just using the e36 selector rod with the 5spd.

So, its been a while since ive had a M54 sitting next to a S54 comparing bellhousing bolt patterns but the 420g wasnt ever meant for the M54. Now if it fits, good, ignore me.

But i think this is something you are just going to have to get dirty to figure out. Mount the trans in the car and get to measuring. This is a swap going into an E28 right? Then i doubt there is very much information on the subject and you may be just the man for the job of making it easier for the next guy.

I'm using the s54 variant, it'll bolt right up to the block.

I hope to work on my S54/ E24 swap this year. I plan to install a 420G that i have. Does anyone know what trans mount will work in the E28/E24 chassis with the 420G? Thanks,

BTW, I ordered the engine and trans swap mounts from my28goodies but their trans mount is really designed for the ZF 5 speed. So I have no idea if it will work or can be modified to work.

Does the trans tunnel require some modification for the 6 spd to fit?
