I have a 1986 M535i, I really want a pair of sport seats in pearl beige but realize that comforts may only be available currently.
i have a set of rough E28 M5 power seats but can't use them since the M535i is not power seats. They must be sport seats. Thanks!

You should be able to retrofit the power sport seat loom into your car and then be able to fit your M5 power sport seats.
I have retrofitted power comfort seats along with seat heating in place of the manual original comfort seats in two of my RHD UK E28 525e.
A loom from a breaker would suffice and is a plug and play into the accessory Connector C302 up under the driver's side under dash cover. Plenty of electric seat looms in the US as most of your cars were sold much more highly specced compared to the European markets.
