Big brake rebuild

Got around to rebuilding a set of E32 calipers and did the swap on my E28. I chose to use 38mm rear calipers to try keep the brake balance close to stock.

What I started of with:





After sandblasting and paint, all new hardware (seals, pistons, guides, bushings,...)



Assembled:





Mounted comparison



Quite happy with the results! Very easy straight upgrade, no modifications needed.
Maybe will need to swap out the master cylinder, but right now it still feel ok.

I'm quite lucky to have a friend who lives to take pictures of all the stuff I do in the garage. He also took some gorgeous pictures when I was rebuilding my M30. I actually should make a topic for those as well
