Never have seen one of these. Pretty odd place to be advertising an old Alpina car too.
Hopefully this is the right section to post this in..

Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
It's not in Seattle and it looks very rough.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
Seattle. Redmond. Same thing, it's all but a 10 minute drive if you're lucky with traffic.wkohler wrote:It's not in Seattle and it looks very rough.
The car really does look neglected for such a specialty car. Seems odd that an enthusiast oriented car has been abused like this, but it's definately not the first example of a car like this that has been.

You didn't read the ad where it said it was in Canada. Lol. Same thing though I'm sure.Nesset wrote:Seattle. Redmond. Same thing, it's all but a 10 minute drive if you're lucky with traffic.wkohler wrote:It's not in Seattle and it looks very rough.

Cars from Japan are not taken care of.

Now nobody else can see what you were talking about, and you feel like a dope. If you don't, you should.

No one missed anything. Turd.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
Here's the ad from Portland, since that's right next to where the car is.

Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
I'm still not seeing where it's claiming to be in Canada. However, yes it's not titled in the states. Wonder where this thing actually is.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
Whatever. Doesn't matter. Just being flipped and it's a turd.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
How do we kno turd hasn't been polished yet? Seemed almost ripe for the polish last go round.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
The fact it's not titled in the states and "easily registered in Washington state" would seem to imply it's in Canada....Nesset wrote:I'm still not seeing where it's claiming to be in Canada. However, yes it's not titled in the states. Wonder where this thing actually is.
Re: Alpina B11 for sale in Seattle
Previous ad for the car mentioned Canada. I saw the word Canada somewhere. Either way, like you say, the paperwork is in disarray.
If it's so easy to get a title, do it. Then sell it. Replace the bulbs.

So, there was a time before, rook's time, and now the leading in Portland. That makes it the turd time.oldskool wrote:How do we kno turd hasn't been polished yet? Seemed almost ripe for the polish last go round.
Sorry, bad joke. Now the thread is dead.

Have we not learned from our mistakes? What if this disappears forever? How will we ever see how bad of a deal this is? Ohhh the sea manatee.wkohler wrote:Here's the ad from Portland, since that's right next to where the car is.

1988 BMW Alpina B11 3.5 - like 735i - $11450 (Redmond / Mercer Island)

1988 Alpina B11 3.5 #223 of 332 - BMW e32 chassis like 735 / 750i but built and tuned by legendary BMW tuning firm Alpina
Recently imported from Japan. Starts right up and runs well. Has not seen regular use since the 1990's. Relatively low miles - 160k kilometers / 100k miles. Exterior is nice with original paint and graphics - looks great from 5-10 feet. Up close there is some missing clear-coat near the washer nozzles on the hood and the roof has some oxidation. Interior is in good condition with clean dash, nice headliner and door panels and modest wear on the front seats. Wood near the shifter could use some oil / refinish. Both front seats are slightly out of alignment - in need of 'BMW seat twist' cable repair.
New Toyo Proxes T1 in the proper Alpina sizes 235/45x17 and 265/40x17 due in 09/23/2016 - TruLine will install and align.
Issue - right rear power window inoperable. Assorted bulbs need to be replaced.

Not currently titles in the USA. Being over 25 years old - exempt from FMVSS and EPA easily registered in WA state. All US Duty paid and ready to register with included forms HS-7 / 3520-1 / 7501 & Japanese de-registration (like title).
If this posting is still up, it's still available.
