Help eliminate corrosion in your trunk by installing those worn out tail light seals! Created from MIL-SPEC neoprene polymer, I am offering brand new E28 tail light gaskets at a price of $50.00 per pair. As opposed to thickness, my non-OEM design is slightly wider (approximately 7%) which allows for increased tail light housing to body contact; at the same time helping aid against inevitable shrinkage over long periods of time. The material is also a slightly more dense type of material than an OEM gasket as well. These usually sell for around $40 (and up) each just about anywhere; and can be close to an absurd $80 each at the dealership.Shipping on a pair is $7.45 anywhere in the continental US; a 2nd pair ships at no extra charge. Please PM me if interested. Thank You.

Yes, I understand your concern. These are top-quality, professionally cut gaskets and not something I'm doing at home in my garage. Just pm me if you'd like to order some. Thank you...
I see you are new here. I think there is very much a need for what you offer and I will try a set. I bought new gaskets from AutohauzAZ a few years back (10 years?) and they need replacing already. I was shocked to see they were up from what I had paid at the time (something around $30). Sending you a PM now.

Hi, thank you very much. Yes I'm new here although I've lurked around a bit. My name is Dave. Not new to BMW but new to E28. I'm a member of bimmer forums, pelican parts, the e28 Facebook page among many others aside from BMW. I've had an E30, and a few E36s but I fell in love with the E28. Currently I have a 528e; for now. Looking forward to spending time enjoying the car and learning from others as well as sharing my experiences.
A nice and tight seal. FYI, when installing these lights, the mounting post nuts bottom out on the post ensuring an even seal all the way around the light. Good thinking by the German engineers.
The top portion of the seal can be seen if you look very closely (picture below); otherwise not noticeable at all. This seal is just slightly wider than the OEM seal to further ensure that water does not get past it. Even the OEM seal is visible in the same way when installed.

Anyone that is interested just reply and I'll contact everyone when they're ready to send out. PAYPAL is probably the easiest way for most people but if that doesn't work for someone we can work something out. Thanks all...
2 sets of 2 thanks. When will your first production round begin?
Thanks. They'll be ready on Tuesday then I'll have to get everything packaged up so that will take a day or two for everyone's orders (I have a full time job in addition to this).
By my count I've got close to 20 pairs spoken for so far. I was originally going to have 25 pair but I've now upped that to 40 pair available beginning next Tuesday so plenty to go around.
