My question is, what inlet temperetures are considered safe on a 9:0 CR B35 with E85 (actually still E70 so far)? The intercooler doesn't get too much direct air cramped in there....can't cut out too much of the front valance/bumper, couldn't afford to pay the fine if they'd get me with a turboed E30

I saw around 50°C (120°F) after a few short pulls with 18 psi boost, so no problem so far, but still just 25°C ambient temperature.
Where does it get dangerous (and should timing be pulled)? Read some stuff on LS1-tech, says above 200°F it gets risky....
Hope some of the M30-experienced people around here chime in!
