bmw e28 M5 euro full body kit

Post by clyde20 »

Hi Guys I make Euro M5 bodykits for the e28 model. They are full fiberglass and the kit contains the following:

- Front Bumper
- Rear Bumper
- Boot/ trunk spoiler
- Side skirts.

Kits are made only on order and you are welcome to arrange your own courier (shipping)

We have fitted a few kits onto local e28s and pics will follow later.

Pricing for a full kit is $750.00

Could you make fibreglass copies of the Euro chrome bumpers instead?

This kit looks real nice! I'm not a fan of halo lights on these cars but those look really good on that color! Subtle and the right color of white.

Looks pretty darn nice to me. Took me two times through to notice the Alpina deco kit on there! What are you using to mount the euro stuff?

It uses the stock mounts to bolt the kit in place

Sorry if this is a derp question, but would a body kit like this require having euro bumpers underneath, or does this actually replace the bumpers themselves?

Regardless, this looks great and I'd love to grab one eventually.

It replaces the whole bumper. So it works regardless if you have a euro or American e28

Looks great in the photos. I pity the person that has to wrap/box/crate a full m-tech kit for shipment. Might help to have shipping, or freight, quotes to help potential buyers get an idea of "out the door" price.

That's not entirely correct: Technically speaking the M-Tech kit is designed to mount directly to Euro bumpers; the bumpers are still needed to provide the car protection (what little they actually do). Without bumpers, you cannot mount the M-Tech front & rear components (at least not without some heavy modifications). Ergo, the M-Tech front & rear pieces are not replacements for bumpers, but merely skin dressings over the Euro bumper.

Since the mounting hardware & position for US bumpers is entirely different from that of Euro bumpers, you would have to modify a US E28 even after you have removed the US bumpers. It's the same reason why you can't just swap US for Euro bumpers on-the-fly.

I do agree with the others: that color on the M-Tech kit looks stunning. GLWS.

What exactally would you have to modify on the us e28s for this to mount up?

If the m-tech reproductions are exact clones of the original m-tech spoilers, then yes, they would require euro bumpers for mounting. You can buy new non-chrome euro bumpers from BMW for (kind of) cheap. If the seller somehow modified the m-tech spoilers to not need euro bumpers and mount to the US spec cars, that would be BADASS.

Very Cool! Do I first install euro bumpers to support the m-tech kit?

Thanks!

Do you have pictures of the bumpers without paint? Maybe it's me but they look to good and straight to be a fiberglass reproduction. Can you show how they mount to the body?
