Front spoiler

I removed pfeba spoiler from e28 (vin nr.7588732) but i dont have original spoiler

Can anyone help me which part no. is for original spoiler and which spoiler is going to my car.

We don't know what car you have.

Standard E28s did not have front air dams, just a valance. The M535i has the plastic drippage kit all the way around. The M5 had its own front air dam.

look at www.realoem.com using the last 7 digits of the VIN to find what the car should have.

I have problem because i found part no.51 71 1 914 512 , but my car is 08/1984 and on this part no. has remark (from Sept.1984)

It appears BMW no longer offers a front spoiler for your car. The model change in 9/84 to a different front valance, the metal frame behind the spoiler on your car: 41331925003 is different in the later cars and makes mounting a front spoiler different.

I don't know if it makes it impossible to put the newer spoiler on the older car but you would have to find one.

Keep this in mind as you look for a front spoiler for your car in the usual used car part places you have available. Also be ready to accept a nice one that looks different, too. There are some pictures of them in the eye candy section, an Aerodynamics sticky but Lotus 72D.

Many front spoilers are no longer available and folks consider themselves lucky to get the one they want.
