Side skirts, rear apron

Post by Wierd Al »

Went to go pick up an 82 528e 5spd car today....rented a truck and drove 3 hours to find that the car did not have the 265 5 spd....complete rust bucket but hopefully I can sell the side skirts and rear apron to help recoup the cost...Do not see a brand on them, good shape except tiny crack in one corner.

All 3 pieces $250 OBO plus shipping from NC 27305, can arrange delivery in mid atl.

Thanks

" the car did not have the 265 5 spd."

Only M30 engined cars have the 265 gearbox with detachable bell house.

The M20 always has the 240 or 260

My '82 Eta had the original gearbox in it and it had a detachable housing. The 265 was optioned with a m30 or a m20 detachable bellhousing IIRC.

In the US, the 1982 528e had the 265 with an M20 bell housing.

yup...the 7 82 528e's I have parted all had 265's, the bellhousing allows you to bolt a 262 4 speed to a 2.4Td motor if you like....also folks use it for M/s50 e30 conversions.

The side skirts and rear apron are sold
