And that... is why I haven't bought an e28 on this side of the pond yet...
That is one hell of a commitment though, essentially remaking every single piece of metal on the whole car from scratch.

That is truly incredible work, and the car isn't even really bad off. I have so much respect for guys like that.

I follow all of Tony's project. It just doesn't get better. He's amazing. I'd love to get him on one of my projects.

It's people, and projects like this that inspire me to drop what i'm doing, and learn the skills for myself. He would have greater satisfaction stepping back and looking at his M5 when it's completed, than any other e28 owner in history.
