Please see the new post (9/18) to add your name to the list.

The S Cal E28 M5 meet will be next Saturday 10am-2pm at the Crystal Cove Shopping Center in Newport Beach.

I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow M5 owners, checking out the cars, swapping information and taking pictures.

Please try to arrive as close to 10am as possible, as some attendees may leave early.

Bruce Webb Manhattan Beach. Christian Falco Van Nuys, there's also a guy in long beach that bought an OC M5 that is one of the cleanest ever.., well.., not as clean as Alan's but close. What about Armando Mendoza in OC... There's more in SoCal then you think.

Right now, I'm a bit pre occupied getting my car ready for the trip to Monterey next week.

Let's plan on a Saturday (or Sunday) in September, noon to 3pm. That would allow for travel time from the far reaches of S Cal.
September 17th? Comments? Opinions?

Do you OC guys have any suggestions for a location?

Excellent photo op, not to mention meeting our fellow M Fivers.
Must have maximum participation!

Philo- do you have any suggestions for contacting the guys you listed (who don't frequent the board)?

How many owners in LA vrs OC vrs San Diego? I'm in the process of buying mine...should be in my driveway in a week.

My brother is very active in the Volvo owners association....I know I know...but he's my brother so...

Anyway, he does a picnic BBQ event about twice a year at Irvine Park in OC. I've also hosted there as well when I was involved in classic mustangs....great location....there's one specific picnic area that is easy to commandeer and a pretty decent backdrop for nice photos, etc.

If you guys are interested in doing it there....I'll take care of the bbq'ing / food etc, as I've done it too many times to count and am pretty good at it. If everyone threw in $5 it would cover hamburgers, hotdogs and chips, sodas, potato salad, cookies etc...and for those who might bring the wife or kids, after hanging out for a while there is the zoo there and kiddee stuff or bike rentals or hiking etc. I'll see if I can dig up a few pics...
