Also reinstalled the fuel pump & filter after scrubbing & wirebrushing the bracket for the two and spraying some fresh paint on them. Nobody will be able to see it, but I'll know things are minty fresh down there, and that's what matters.

Starting and idling, yes, but definitely not drivable. The problem was pretty obvious once I pulled the distributor cap; only wish I'd done that first.C.R. Krieger wrote:HOLY SCHMIDT! Drove it about 20km home, and suddenly she turned off. Pulled over, stressed out for a bit, thought it had run out of fuel, filled it up with a jerry can, and still no start. Then noticed on of the damn bellhousing sensors had fallen out.. Loctite those babies!
Now the run in period. Gotta get it registered and roadworthied this week, then make a good few thousand k's to run her in, and then start refitting the turbo stuff. All coming together
