Question for those with an E30 and E28 --
Can anyone tell me if the A-Pillar on the E30 is the same as the e28? From pictures they look almost identical.
I was wondering because they sell pillar pods for the E30 but not the e28. I made a pillar pod for my e28 but I'd rather have something more clean and professional looking.
Thanks in advance

A-pillar gauges have become the rage I'd guess, like huge Sun tach's were the deal in the early 60's, afixed to the steering column with a huge hose clamp.
Pillar gauges make sense in a competition car, they're already at eye level and so forth. I may add them to my one ton diesel pickup because the only other place is down near the floor, a long way from eye level, and I don't want to cut the dash.
On an e28, I'd recommend you take a look at Shawn D.'s gauge package.

I mean I already got a 1 gauge pod on mine already -- And I prefer that over anything. Only because if I'm cruising down the highway I want to just glance over and see the gauges, I don't want to totally remove my eyes off the road... thats too dangerous.
I'm thinking I can make it fit with some epoxy, spray paint, and a dremel.
