OT: Anyone else pick up GT4 today?
SWEET GAME!
Graphics are better than GT3, but the real improvement is in the physics and numbers of cars/tracks. I really enjoy driving the old nurburgring and Infineon raceway since I've actually driven it in person now. Very realistic rendering of the track.
I highly recommend it if you have a ps2, might even be worth picking up the system just for this game. I would.

I have not bought GT4. Yet.
I was visiting Laguna Seca in May of 2003. It was an off day, they had a sport bike DE. Nothing big, but very cool to see guys taking the corkscrew. You could tell when the instructors came around. They were fast!
Anyway, I went to the gift shop, and talked to the guy that was working that day. Somehow it came up that Sony had been there shooting footage for GT4. They had about 4-5 cars, cameras set up all over the cars and track, and a helicopter. He said they filmed for 2 weeks straight.
For the efoort they put into that one track, I'm sure the game has got to be awesome! Hell, I thought the first one was/is incredible as far a simulations go...

Bought it yesterday, and have already spent a few hours with it. I like it a lot, works great with the Logitech force-feedback wheel.
I was pretty excited to drive Sears Point, but quickly discovered that I could do without turn 2 (blind uphill right-hander where the car just won't turn). Also, keeping the Miata planted through the fast esses is kind of difficult.
Haven't tried Nurburgring yet.
